COUPLES COACHING · 4-WEEKS

The Reset: Couples Intensive

Real, research-backed couples coaching for the relationship you still believe in — even when it’s hard to remember why.

A focused 4-week coaching experience designed to help you stop unhealthy cycles, rebuild connection, and create healthier ways of relating to each other.

Together we work on:

Communication and conflict

Defensiveness and shutdown

• Emotional triggers and reactions

Resentment and emotional distance

Trust and emotional safety

Reconnecting emotionally

• Learning how to work as a team again

“The goal isn’t to stop fighting. It’s to finally understand what you’re really fighting about.”

Underneath every repeated argument is something deeper — a need that isn’t being met, a fear that isn’t being seen, a pattern neither of you chose but both of you are stuck in. That’s what we get to the bottom of. Together.

WHAT MAKES THIS DIFFERENT

This is not couples therapy.

Most couples spend years trying to get the other person to finally change, communicate differently, or understand them better.

But relationships don’t improve through blame, criticism, control, or emotional shutdown.

They improve when people learn how to communicate honestly, manage their emotions, understand their own reactions, take responsibility for their behavior, and create healthier ways of relating.

THE ASSESSMENT

The Gottman Relationship Assessment.

The Gottman assessment is not a quiz. It’s a deeply researched diagnostic tool developed by Drs. John and Julie Gottman — the world’s leading relationship researchers — after decades of studying what makes relationships succeed or fail.

It gives us a complete, honest picture of your relationship — your friendship, your conflict patterns, your shared meaning, your dreams. And it means we never waste a session guessing. We know exactly where to focus from day one.

This assessment is included in your couples container and administered before your very first coaching session.

What the assessment reveals:

  • The depth of your friendship and emotional connection
  • How you each handle conflict — and why
  • Where you’re getting stuck and what’s driving it
  • What each of you needs that isn’t being communicated
  • Your shared values, dreams, and sense of meaning
  • Your relationship’s specific strengths to build on

Frequently Asked Questions

What if one of us is more committed than the other?

That’s very common. We work with the dynamic that’s actually present, not the one you wish you had.

Do we always meet together?

No. The process includes individual sessions as well as couples coaching.

Is this therapy?

No. This is relationship coaching focused on practical tools, communication, emotional awareness, and healthier relational habits.

Can this help if we are considering separation?

Possibly. The work helps create clarity, healthier communication, and a better understanding of where you both actually are.

What if we argue during sessions?

That’s okay. Conflict is part of the work. Sessions are structured to help you understand and navigate conflict differently — not avoid it.

Do you work virtually?

Yes. All sessions are held virtually

YOUR COACH

Hi, I’m Lisa.

For over 12 years I’ve worked with couples who are exhausted, disconnected, and wondering if the relationship they fell in love with is still in there somewhere. It always is. It just needs the right support to find its way back.

I’m trained in the Gottman method, certified to teach the Seven Principles for Making Marriage Work, and trained by Martha Beck (Oprah Winfrey’s personal life coach) — bringing together two of the most powerful methodologies in relationships and personal transformation.

I’m not here to tell you what to do or take sides. I’m here to help you both finally understand each other — and give you the tools to keep doing that long after our time together is over.

That’s the work. And I’ve never seen it fail when both people are willing to show up for it.

THE NEXT STEP

Ready to finally understand each other?

The first step is a free consultation — just the two of you and me. We’ll talk about where you are, what you’re hoping for, and whether this feels like the right fit. No pressure. No pitch. Just an honest conversation.

If it feels right, we’ll talk about next steps together. Every couples coaching session is built around your specific relationship — because no two couples are the same.
